I sense a blog post coming on!

I make banana ice cream and other fruit sorbets all the time using my Vitamix. I’ve seen it done in food processors, too, but I sold mine when I bought the Vitamix. I keep frozen bananas in my freezer, but not for long. They have a short shelf life, so use them within a week for best results (and the riper, the sweeter!).
I just learned about saving ripe bananas in the freezer, but I didn’t know how long they would stay good. Thanks for answering this!
So, do you just use the Vitamix to blend the ingredients then use an ice cream freezer to make the sorbet?
